Norex Enterprises, Inc., a privately owned manufacturing company incorporated in New York State in 1971, provides lighting, décor, "front of the house" tabletop products for hospitality/food service professionals as well as recognition and promotional product professionals.

In 1998, American Voyages' Delta Queen steam ship cruising on the Mississippi was the first commercial business to order and put the new, never seen before Norex SmartLite® Rechargeable candle on its tables and thus replace the fire hazard of open flame candles with a beautiful, realistically flickering LED candle. "The Buzz" about the wonderful and ingenious product Norex introduced started to be heard around the world. Soon after the first introduction, Norwegian Cruise Line ships joined the family of enthusiastic and satisfied users of the Norex SmartLite® Rechargeable LED candle.

Norex understood that the most important benefit of its beautiful, realistically flickering rechargeable LED candle was SAFETY immediately followed by COST SAVINGS.

While "imitators" of the Norex Smart LED candle technology were scrambling to catch up and join the "BUZZ" started by Norex Innovation, Research and Development, Norex was once again distinguishing itself by further advancing and improving the product.

During 2003 and 2004, with the commercial user's interests in mind first and foremost and aided by Norex's manufacturing flexibility and capability to implement product improvements and changes in a timely manner, Norex introduced the long lasting (24+ hours on a full charge) and powerful, professional quality NorexPro^TM SafeLite^TM LED Rechargeable candle. It also introduced the new and innovative NorexPro^TM SmartCharger^TM that will protect the Norex SafeLite^TM against overcharging and will extend the usable life of the product. Norex products are retrofit in case customers wish to purchase new component parts but do not wish to invest in replacing old working components. Customers' interests always come first with us!!!

Norex knows that in order to continue to provide its sophisticated and discriminating customers with the product quality, reliability, professional customer service and support that they have learned to expect over the company's 36 year history, it had to continue manufacturing its electronic products in the USA under the strictest quality control standards rather than move the product's manufacturing overseas for immediate cost savings.
